PERSONS LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS

Through the City of Industry Fund, the CDC has assisted in the development of affordable housing units for people living with HIV/AIDS.

The Palm View Apartments in West Hollywood provide affordable rental  housing to persons living with HIV/AIDS.  Funding assistance came from the City of West Hollywood, the CDC’s HOME Program and Actor’s Equity, among others.

As part of the Special Needs Housing Alliance, the CDC is part of a HIV Housing Collaborative to encourage coordination of housing-related resources and services for people living with HIV/AIDS in Los Angles County.  The mission of the HIV Housing Collaborative is to increase housing opportunities linked with services for people living with HIV/AIDS in Los Angeles County.
