HACoLA OVERVIEW

The Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles serves in Los Angeles County, administering both the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Public Housing programs.  The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program currently assists approximately 21,000 families through a partnership with over 10,000 property owners.  The Public Housing program manages 2,961 units throughout Los Angeles County.

Section 8 Program
The Section 8 program offers tenant-based assistance.  Participants find their own housing to rent and pay a portion of their income towards rent.  For more information, click here.
