COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AND
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
One of the key resources for financing affordable housing is the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and administered by the CDC on behalf of the County of Los Angeles.
What is the current Status of the HOME Program?
The County's current annual allocation is approximately $6.8 million in HOME funds. This represents a 43% reduction from the previous year. HOME funds continue to support the Home Ownership Program (secondary mortgage financing for first-time homebuyers) and proposed new developments.
The inclusion of approximately $1.5 million in HOME funds will soon be available through a Notice of Funding Availability - Round 18, under the Multifamily Housing Program. Please click here for additional information.
