AMENDMENT TO THE 2008-2009 ONE-YEAR ACTION PLAN
HOMELESSNESS PREVENTION AND RAPID RE-HOUSING PROGRAM
The amendment to the 2008-2009 One-Year Action Plan for the Los Angeles Urban County is to enable the County of Los Angeles to receive and administer funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s HPRP under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Through the HPRP, Los Angeles County will provide financial assistance and services to either prevent individuals and families from becoming homeless or help re-house and stabilize those who are experiencing homelessness. The Los Angeles Urban County includes 47 participating cities and the unincorporated areas of the county.
