SECTION 8 PROGRAM WHERE WE OPERATE The Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles’ (HACoLA) jurisdiction includes all unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. There are 88 incorporated cities in Los Angeles County.  18 have their own public housing agencies: Baldwin Park* Burbank Compton Culver City Glendale Hawaiian Gardens Hawthorne Inglewood Long Beach Los Angeles Norwalk Pasadena Pico Rivera Pomona Redondo Beach Santa Monica South Gate Torrance       * Baldwin Park serves the cities of South El Monte and Monrovia HACoLA serves the cities in Los Angeles County that do not have their own Housing Authority. HACoLA also serves as the program administrator for six small cities within Los Angeles County.  These cities have special jurisdictional cooperation agreements with the Housing Authority.  If you are interested in applying for Section 8 assistance in these areas, you may complete an online application.
